“Control the Out of Control by Regulated Behavior”
Meditation helps you to manage the triggers that cause you to lose control by acknowledging them, but afterward letting them flow into their proper compartments so that you can deal with the here and now. When you meditate you are training the brain to handle stress and anxiety, learning how to better observe and control your emotions. Here are three ways you can actively control your emotions better:
- Become more self-aware through breathing, observation and being.
- Understand that it is okay to feel positive and negative emotions and let them go through noticing, accepting and learning.
