Royce soulfully brings new life to powerhouse singers and R&B/Hip-Hop Music. Always changing, always adapting, McCalman diversifies any project he is a part of as well as his own music. McCalman began singing at the age of four and continued his training classically at the world-renowned School of Music Alkibulan Cultural Music Center in Pasadena. He was accepted to be a part of the Alkibulan Boys Classical Choir National Tour, traveling and performing in Detroit and California. Hungry for the spotlight McCalman has worked tediously on his own craft and music. He began vocal training with Legend Doc Holliday (Quincy Jones, Britney Spears, Earth Wind and Fire) and Trina Ingrahm “Cookie” (One of the original Brownettes, James Brown). He has performed at such places as The Convention Center and BB Kings. As well as working with such artists as “ROME” (RCA Records, “I Belong To You”), Chino XL (Universal Records) and Daz Dilinger. He currently leads LA Sensation “The KI” who perform all over Los Angeles at such places as The Mint, The Joint, The Key Club, as well as a residency at Café Cordiale.
